We are looking for a full-time employee for cleaning, maintenance and support for maintenance work and events at the Residence of the Ambassador in Tarabya.
The activities include the following tasks:
- Cleaning work (floors, sanitary areas, windows, dusting of furniture, etc.)
- Taking care of antique furniture
- Replenishing consumables
- Laundry and ironing work, as well as changing bed linen
- Carrying out minor manual work and supporting maintenance and repair services
- Support for official events (e.g., admission, cloakroom, catering supervision, and table decoration)
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Several years of professional experience in cleaning and housekeeping
- Strong teamwork skills and physical resilience
- Willingness to work flexible hours (including deployments on Sundays, public holidays, and evenings during events)
- Sufficient knowledge of German or English is required
- Completed vocational training (preferably in a technical field or in housekeeping) is an advantage
The employment contract is based on Turkish labor law. The weekly working time is 45 hours. Remuneration is based on the currently valid remuneration scheme of the Consulate General and amounts to approximately €1,270 net per month before taxes. The proper taxation of the remuneration at the tax office (vergi dairesi) must be arranged by the employee themselves. In addition to Turkish nationals, persons who hold a valid residence permit or MaviKart may also apply. Following a successful selection process, medical fitness must be proven by a medical examination with the cooperation physician of the Consulate General prior to employment. Furthermore, a personal/security screening will be conducted. Your willingness to cooperate is presupposed.
